Beuth's Lobster Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 Lobsters

  • 1/4 cup salt

  • 1 gallon water

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 1 package of hotdog rolls

Directions

  1. In a large stock pot add a gallon of water and 1/4 cup of salt and bring to a boil.

  2. Once water is boiling add your Lobsters to the pot, cover and cook for 10 minutes.

  3. Place cooked Lobsters a bowl or sink and allow to cool for several minutes.

  4. Pick Lobster meat from claws and tails. Cut meat into pieces roughly the size of a quarter and transfer to a bowl. Reserve bodies for a stock if you wish.

  5. In a medium skillet melt most of the stick of butter on medium heat and place the Lobster meat in the melted butter and coat the meat with the butter.

  6. In a large skillet melt the remaining butter on medium high heat and place 4 rolls into the skillet and brown both sides until golden and crispy.

  7. Fill a roll with a good portion of the buttery lobster and serve with french fries and a stuffie.
